About

The Palestine Reporting Lab incubates groundbreaking, ground-up journalism about Palestine and Palestinian communities. We support ambitious, time-intensive investigative and enterprise stories that uncover hidden harm, focus on accountability, and serve communities affected by abuses of power.

The Lab provides emerging and veteran journalists with rigorous editorial guidance and mentorship, financial support for travel and reporting time, and opportunities for collaborative reporting, research and storytelling. Our journalism is produced and published in partnership with leading news organizations around the world.

The Palestine Reporting Lab is a project of Just Vision, an independent, not-for-profit media organization.

Editorial Independence

The Palestine Reporting Lab is guided by the Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics. We are committed to editorial independence, truth, integrity, and fairness. The Lab retains full control over what we cover and maintains a firewall between our editorial decisions and all sources of funding.

Get in Touch

If you have a story idea, a tip, or want to collaborate, please get in touch. We are open to all sorts of stories including strong narratives and/or reporting rooted in data, documents, or other sourcing.
If you have a story idea that you think might be a good fit, please send us no more than a few paragraphs to tell us about it. What story do you want to tell and why does it matter? What reporting have you already done? Give us some insight into how you might report the story. And tell us a little about why you’re the right person to report it. We strive to support reporters who have meaningful connections to the communities they plan to report on—you don’t have to be a traditional journalist.

If you’re a source with information or a tip, we’d like to hear from you. (We are committed to protecting anonymity when needed.)

If you’re an editor at a journalism organization with interest in collaboration, we’d like to hear from you.
