Maya is a reporter for Local Call, writing on welfare and social inequality. In addition to her work for Local Call, Maya is a human rights attorney with experience working with people in poverty, immigrants and victims of gender-based violence. She is also a founder of Slow Money Israel, nonprofit supporting grassroots farmers and advancing nutrition security.
