Naila and the Uprising

Naila and the Uprising is the Opening Night film at the 2018 HRW Film Festival - London, on the occasion of International Women's Day. The screening will include a Q&A with Just Vision's Creative Director, Julia Bacha (Director, Naila and the Uprising) and the film's protagonists, Naila Ayesh and Zahira Kamal. Naila and the Uprising

Naila and the Uprising will have its Swiss Premiere at the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) in Geneva, as part of the Grand Reportage Competition. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Just Vision's Creative Director and the Director of Naila and the Uprising, Julia Bacha. There will be a second screening on Tuesday, March 13. Naila and the Uprising will screen at the Movies that Matter Film Festival in The Hague as part of the Activist Competition Programme. As part of the programme, Naila Ayesh has also been nominated for the Activist Human Rights Award, which recognizes the work of human rights defenders from around the globe. Naila will be joined at the festival by Jen Marlowe (Co-producer, Naila and the Uprising).
