Falasteen on Film and SALA METÁFORAS are hosting a screening of Naila and the Uprising on Friday, August 9 at Casa Emaús in Torremocha del Jarama, a rural village outside Madrid, Spain. The screening is part of Encounters for Solidarity, a free community event combining film and social theatre to raise awareness in remote areas.

The evening will include a critical monologue on Europe’s role in the genocide, performed by the director of SALA METÁFORAS, and will conclude with a discussion featuring Palestinian activist and writer Jaldia Abubakra of Alkarama.
