Join us for the "Beyond the Headlines: Voices of Palestinian Women in Journalism and Media" webinar, which is part of the Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) "And Still We Rise" (ASWR) Initiative. ASWR focuses on women in media and the unique role women play in shaping stories coming out of the Middle East, with specific attention to the current crisis in Gaza. This webinar will highlight the voices of Palestinian women working at the intersections of journalism and media including Just Vision's Education and Outreach Director in Palestine, Rula Salameh, CMEP's ASWR coordinator, Tamar Haddad, AJ+ Arabic and TRT World correspondent, Faten Alwan, and journalist and founding staff member of Ma’an News Agency, Rana Abu Farha.
