Join Dardishi for an online screening of Naila and the Uprising. Dardishi is a community-focused zine and arts festival that showcases Arab and North African womxn’s contributions to contemporary art and culture.

Naila and the Uprising will screen as part of the J Street U Summer Leadership Institute, sharing the film with student leaders from across the country. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Just Vision’s Public Engagement Director, Emma Alpert. This is a private event.

Just Vision's Director of Public Engagement, Emma Alpert, will speak on a panel at the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) annual conference: "Strengthening Women's Leadership in Middle Eastern Public Administration and Civil Society." The presentation will focus on the impact of Just Vision's latest documentary Naila and the Uprising which has reached thousands of educators, students, journalists, public administrators and civil society leaders through its public engagement campaign in the US, Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Naila and the Uprising will screen on the opening night of the 5th Annual Festival Ciné-Palestine Toulouse Occitanie. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with protagonist Naila Ayesh. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit the American Comosgraph website.

Students at Bar Ilan in Ramat Gan will gather watch Naila and the Uprising as part of a Gender Studies course. A post-screening conversation will follow. This event is open only to those students in the course.
