Naila and the Uprising

Join us for a free screening of Naila and the Uprising, followed by an in-depth discussion with the film's Producer and Editor, Rebekah Wingert-Jabi and Jehad Abusalim of the American Friends Service Committee. This screening is co-sponsored by the Department of Middle East and North African Studies and the Block Museum of Art and part of an ongoing film series at the Museum: Personal Archives, Political Memories: The Radical Past in Contemporary Documentary.

Join us for a screening of Naila and the Uprising at Kober Development Association in Kober Village. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Just Vision's Education and Outreach Director and the film's producer, Rula Salameh. This event is free and open to the public.

MA students at the University of Haifa will watch Naila and the Uprising as part of a Gender Studies methodology course. A post-screening conversation will follow. This event is open only to those students in the course.

Omdim Beyachad (Standing Together) organized an independent screening of Naila and the Uprising with students involved in the movement at the University of Haifa. The sceening was followed by a Q&A with Nabila Espanioli, Director of Al-Tafula Center.
