Naila and the Uprising

Students from Boston Latin School participating in the Seevak Human Rights and Social Justice Fellowship will meet with members of the Just Vision team to discuss Naila and the Uprising, Local Call and Just Vision's ongoing programming and outreach efforts across the US, Palestine and Israel. This is a private meeting.

Naila and the Uprising will screen at The Jerusalem Fund & Palestine Center, followed by a Q&A with Just Vision's Director of Public Engagement, Emma Alpert. This event is free and open to the public. Light snacks and refreshments will be served at 6-6:30 pm and the film will begin at 6:30pm. Join us for a screening of two documentaries, Women, Peace & Power (23 min) and Naila and the Uprising (54 min) that follow the stories of women in Afghanistan, Liberia, Northern Ireland, and Israel & Palestine as they work to influence political developments and peace processes in their countries.

The screenings will be followed by a discussion with Peace is Loud's Jamie Dobie, Just Vision's Suhad Babaa, and moderated by Our Secure Future's Sahana Dharmapuri.
