Join Just Vision for a screening of Naila and the Uprising, followed by a Q&A with our Executive Director, Suhad Babaa. Naila and the Uprising chronicles the remarkable journey of Naila Ayesh and a fierce community of women at the frontlines, whose stories weave through the most vibrant, nonviolent mobilization in Palestinian history – the First Intifada in the late 1980s. This screening is open to all conference participants.

Naila and the Uprising will screen for students of the “Youth Forum for Politics and Development” at PalThink for Strategic Studies followed by a Q&A and discussion led by the film's co-producer, Fadi Abu Shammalah. This is a private event.

Join us for a screening of Naila and the Uprising with the Delaware Chapter of Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Just Vision's Director of Public Engagement, Emma Alpert. This screening is free and open to the public.

Naila and the Uprising will screen at the Creative Alliance as part of “Not A Film Fest: Anti-Colonial Conversations in Baltimore.” This event is co-sponsored by the Creative Alliance and Baltimore Palestine Solidarity. Just Vision's Executive Director, Suhad Babaa and Director of Public Engagement, Emma Alpert will join to lead discussion around the film and the organizations's efforts to increase the power and reach of Palestinians and Israelis working to end the occupation and build a future of freedom, dignity and equality for all.
