Naila and the Uprising

Achvat Amim will lead an independent screening of Naila and the Uprising as part of their in-depth educational and service program for young Israelis and visitors to Israel aimed at fostering values of justice, equality and peace and ending racism, violence and inequality. This is a private event.

Naila and the Uprising chronicles the remarkable journey of Naila Ayesh and a fierce community of women at the frontlines, whose stories weave through the most vibrant, nonviolent mobilization in Palestinian history – the First Intifada in the late 1980s. This screening is open to all conference participants.

Naila and the Uprising will screen for students of the “Youth Forum for Politics and Development” at PalThink for Strategic Studies followed by a Q&A and discussion led by the film's co-producer, Fadi Abu Shammalah. This is a private event.
