Naila and the Uprising

Join us for a screening of Naila and the Uprising, co-hosted by Baltimore Palestine Solidarity and the Jewish Voice for Peace - Baltimore Chapter. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Emma Alpert, Public Engagement Manger at Just Vision and the film's Impact Producer. You can find more information on the FB event here.

Naila and the Uprising will screen at Al-Quds University in Abu Dis, followed by a Q&A with the film's producer, Rula Salameh. The screening is open only to students at Al-Quds University.

Naila and the Uprising will screen as part of the Dublin Human Rights Festival, which aims to celebrate the voices and actions of human rights defenders from Ireland and around the world through interactive workshops, panel discussions, artistic performances. The Dublin Human Rights Festival is organized by Frontline Defenders, in partnership with the Dublin City Council, Irish Council for Civil Liberties, National Women's Council of Ireland, Fighting Words, the Latin America Solidarity Centre and the National LGBT Federation.

Naila and the Uprising will screen on November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, as part of a one-day summit at The People's Forum. The summit will include panel discussions, workshops and cultural performances to address issues related to gender and state violence. The aim is to uplift stories of resilience, resistance, build bridges and share tools towards building a united movement where working class women are at the front and center.

Naila and the Uprising will be included in the Sustainable Living Film Festival in Istanbul at the French Cultural Center in Beyoğlu.

In commemoration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the Arab Human Rights Film Network (ANHAR) will host a a screening of Naila and the Uprising in Tunis.
