Naila and the Uprising

Naila and the Uprising will premiere in Jerusalem as the closing night film of the 3rd Annual Jerusalem International Film Festival. The film is co-presented by the Yabous Cultural Center and the Sirb Center for Culture and Community Arts. Following the screening there will be a Q&A with Rula Salameh, the film's producer and Just Vision's Education and Outreach Director, as well as several of the film's protagonists. This screening is free and open to the public. English and Arabic subtitles are provided.

Join Just Vision and The Century Foundation for a special screening, followed by a discussion with Julia Bacha, the film’s director and Creative Director at Just Vision, and Haggai Matar, a co-producer on the film and the executive director of 972–Advancement of Citizen Journalism, as they explore the film’s themes and significance today, in Israel, Palestine, and beyond. The discussion will be moderated by Thanassis Cambanis, senior fellow at The Century Foundation.
