The film follows the family of Mohamed Saleh and several other children in the Gaza Strip as they navigate the often Kafkaesque process of getting permission from the Israeli army to leave the besieged strip for medical treatments that are unavailable there. 

The screening will be followed by a discussion with filmmaker Jen Marlowe and special guests Ghada Majadli, Mohamed Lafi, Fadi Abu Shammalah, and Miranda Cleland. 

Join us for the world premiere of our new film, Boycott, at the DOC NYC film festival on November 14 at 4:15 pm ET. Boycott follows a speech therapist in Texas, a lawyer in Arizona, and a news publisher in Arkansas, who, when told they must choose between their jobs and their political beliefs, launch legal battles that expose an attack on freedom of speech across dozens of states in America. 

Join us for a workshop on social impact filmmaking and women's leadership led by Just Vision's Executive Director, Suhad Babaa, at the National Women's Studies Association national conference. The workshop will draw on clips from the film to explore how media, storytelling and academia work in tandem to achieve specific  goals and successfully amplify women's leadership in movement-building. 

Just Vision's Deputy Director, Emma Alpert, will lead a storytelling workshop as part of Achvat Amim's in-depth educational and service program for young adults living in Israel. This is a private event. 

Join Just Vision, Americans for Peace Now and Jewish Currents for conversation about the recent decision by Ben and Jerry's to stop selling its products in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Speakers Ben Cohen (Founder, Ben & Jerry’s) and Anuradha Mittal (Board Chair, Ben & Jerry’s) will be in conversation with our Executive Director, Suhad Babaa; Jewish Currents Editor-at-Large, Peter Beinart; and President and CEO of Americans for Peace Now, Hadar Susskind. 

Just Vision's Communications Associate, Jen Marlowe, will lead a storytelling and media workshop with activists from the Center for Jewish Nonviolence.

Please join us for a conversation on June 22 at 12 pm ET / 7pm Jerusalem time with two Palestinian mental health professionals working on the frontlines in the West Bank and Gaza. They will share how recent events, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the latest war on Gaza, coupled with the ongoing impact of displacement, annexation and Israeli state-backed violence, affect their patients and communities on a daily basis.
