Interview Archives

Between 2004 and 2010, Just Vision interviewed more than 80 Palestinian and Israeli grassroots leaders. The interviews in this archive represent a fraction of the civic leaders working in the field at a particular moment in time, and aim to provide audiences access to a range of perspectives and approaches.

When identifying grassroots leaders for interviews, we held to three essential criteria:

  • They live in Israel or the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
  • They are pursuing nonviolent approaches with a commitment to ending the occupation.
  • They are civilians.

While the views and opinions expressed in these interviews do not necessarily reflect those of Just Vision, we believe this archive provides valuable lessons learned and can inform current and future conversations around critical issues within the Israeli-Palestinian context. We acknowledge that the perspectives of interviewees continually evolve. As such, each interview reflects a snapshot of an individual's perspective at a specific moment in time.

If you have any feedback or questions about these interviews, please contact info@justvision.org.
