A conversation between MIT cognitive scientist, Emile Bruneau and Just Vision's Executive Director, Suhad Babaa, on groundbreaking research that demonstrates the impact of documentary film and storytelling on shifting perceptions and driving social change, using Budrus as a case study.

Just Vision's Executive Director, Suhad Babaa and Creative Director, Julia Bacha will present a sneak preview of Just Vision's upcoming documentary film on the courageous women who secretly led the largest nonviolent resistance movement in Palestinian history. Special guests include Suad Amiry and Robin Morgan. This is a private event.

On October 6, USIP will release a Special Report on women’s roles in non-violent struggles. The new report notes that research finds non-violent movements with massive, diverse participation are more effective.
The report’s author, Marie Principe, will join Just Vision's Creative Director, Julia Bacha, who recently gave a TED Talk entitled “How Women Wage Conflict Without Violence,” which draws on the findings in the report.

Just Vision's forthcoming documentary film, Untitled Women Leaders of the First Intifada Project, was selected for the DOC NYC Pitch Perfect Day featuring works-in-progress.
